Asia’s ESG Boom Generates Hot Jobs Market: Bloomberg

(AF) A boom in ESG finance in Asia is creating one of the hottest job markets in global finance, with HSBC and ANZ Bank among the giants looking to recruit ESG-skilled staff in Asia, Bloomberg News reports.

Because of the scarcity of expertise in the new financial sector, the jobs often pay a premium, the report added. New hires are keenly needed in heavily polluting Asia as nations look to markets to fund decarbonisation projects, the report stated. Full story: Bloomberg News
