Foxconn Eyes JV With Nidec to Build EV Motors: Bloomberg

(AF) Taiwan’s Foxconn and Japanese company Nidec may push deeper into the electric vehicle (EV) sector after agreeing to examine whether they can jointly develop the motors and other components that propel cars, Bloomberg News reported.

Tech giant Foxconn’s Foxtron Vehicle Tehnologies and Nidec, which makes parts for EVs, will discuss producing powertrains through a joint venture, the report stated.
