Hikvision, the Chinese surveillance company, faces a round of US sanctions that could greatly affect its international operations, the Financial Times reported. The Hangzhou-based company’s shares fell as much as 10% on Thursday.
The US administration is aware that measures would have ramifications for the more than 180 countries that use Hikvision cameras, and has been briefing allies on its possible moves, the FT said.
