(ATF) The Agricultural Bank of China (601288.SH) has said it received a positive response from financial regulators and the central bank about a new bond issue.
The China Banking Regulatory Commission gave approval to the Agricultural Bank of China’s Issuance of Tier 2 Capital Bonds – Bank Insurance Regulatory Review  No. 179.
The People’s Bank of China decided to grant an Administrative License (Silver Market Permitted Grant No. 71 in 2020), agreeing to the bank’s proposal to issue no more than 40 billion yuan (US$5.65 billion) of secondary capital bonds in the national interbank bond market.
