(ATF) – Recent company announcements in China:
China Unicom said in its annual report on Monday that the company revenue for 2019 was 264.4 billion yuan (US$37.8bn) in its main business, up 0.3% from the same period in 018.
Net profit reached 4.98bn yuan, an increase of 22.1%. Capital expenditure for 5G in 2020 is about 35bn yuan, it added. With the acceleration of the construction of 5G networks, Unicom’s user base is expected to grow rapidly in the second half of the year.
Newlink Group, a domestic digital energy infrastructure provider, has signed an agreement with Siming District of Xiamen to settle many of its business sectors in Xiamen, a coastal city in Fujian province. It is expected to complete a $100 million investment project in the province in the next five years.
