UK to Only Allow Chinese Investment That’s to its Advantage: FT

(AF) With the UK set to pass national security laws that could stifle foreign purchases of British firms, the investment minister said Chinese involvement would only be permitted were it to “our advantage”, the Financial Times reported.

Lord Gerry Grimstone insisted that the UK was still open for business for foreign buyers and said “efficient” ground rules would be set to screen potential investors, the report added. Full report: Financial Times
