(AF) Chinese state media has endorsed a nationalist blogger’s tirade that calls for an intensification of leader Xi Jinping’s regulatory crackdown across many sectors of the economy, the Financial Times reported.

CCTV, Xinhua and the People’s Daily shared the post, which called the recent “rectification actions” as a “profound revolution”, the report stated. The blog said China had become one in which “capitalists… get rich overnight” and it railed against a population that had become a paradise for sissy stars and news and public opinion… worshipping Western culture”, it added.
