BHP Partner Seeks ‘Greener’ EV Metals – The Age

 

BHP’s partner in an emerging African nickel and cobalt venture expects carmakers to focus on ethical and sustainable electric vehicle (EV) raw materials, The Age reported.

Melbourne-based BHP this week signed a deal to invest up to $100 million in Tanzania’s Kabanga nickel and cobalt project, two metals vital for EV batteries.
