China Reuses Secret Spaceplane, One Still in Flight – Forbes

China successfully reused a suborbital spaceplane for the first time ever in a secretive test, while another similar spaceplane is still flying, Forbes reported, quoting the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC).

CASC lauded the “complete success” of the mission boosting China’s “space transportation technology from one-time use to repeated use,” the report said, adding that spacecraft landed “smoothly” in Inner Mongolia after a “short trip”. The report added that another Chinese spaceplane, akin to “a smaller version of the uncrewed Boeing X-37B” continued to orbit the Earth, after having taken off close to three weeks ago, and had broken the country’s 2020 record of two days for a similar mission.
