China’s Honor Halts Phone Shipments to Russia – Vedomosti

 

The Chinese Honor brand of smartphones has suspended deliveries of its devices to Russia over risks of western-led sanctions relating to the war on Ukraine, the Moscow news site Vedomosti reported.

The company, majority owned by an arm of Shenzhen’s municipal government, has signed a deal with a Uzbekistan company to export its phones to Russia, Vedomosti said, and was looking for similar deals in Armenia and Georgia.
