More freight trains from China were headed for Russia than Europe between January and June this year as trade between Moscow and Beijing soared in the wake of Western sanctions on the Kremlin, Caixin Global reported, citing industry numbers.
Chinese freight trains to Russia made up 60% of the total traffic headed to Europe during the period against 45% in 2021, the report added.
