Shortage of Spares Puts Pressure on Automakers – Viet Nam News

The shortage of spare parts, especially semiconductors, is affecting production and assembly operations by domestic automobile makers, a report said

Consumption in the automobile market is gradually recovering after a long period of social distancing in the country, but many domestic automobile manufacturers and assemblers are facing difficulties due to a shortage of spare parts, Viet Nam News reported.

The shortage of spare parts, especially semiconductors, is seriously affecting the production and assembly operations of domestic automobile makers, the report said citing a vernacular newspaper.
