The US Marine Corps (USMC) has updated its information warfare guidance as the force seeks to counter propaganda from China and Russia at a time when “digital subterfuge” and disinformation are increasingly important, Defense News reported.
Marine Corps Doctrinal Publication 8 – which outline tactics, techniques and procedures – attempts to instill media awareness in the ranks, the US publication quoted Lieutenant General Matthew Glavy, USMC deputy commandant for information, as saying.
