China Largely Tames Inflation During 2021 – Xinhua

Inflation climbed 0.9% in 2021 and authorities have ensured adequate supplies of goods, which helped stabilise prices

With a mild retreat last month, China’s inflation largely remained tame throughout 2021 against the backdrop of sustained economic recovery, Xinhua reported.

Inflation climbed 0.9% in 2021, well below the country’s annual target of about 3% and authorities have ensured adequate supplies of goods, which helped stabilise prices.
