S&P Dow Jones Indices will enable institutional investors to customise some of its benchmarks using indexing technology provided by C8 Technologies, C8 said.
Portfolio customisation is increasingly attractive to investors as they look to fashion exact Environmental, Social, Governance investment exposures, London-based C8 said in a statement.
“Our goal is to offer choice to investors by providing them access to our family of transparent and independent indices through multiple channels,’’ said Peter Roffman, Global Head of Innovation and Strategy at S&P Dow Jones Indices, adding it would help it reach a widening group of investors and index users.
S&P Dow Jones Indices joins Morningstar, IHS Markit, and Ned Davis Research are among firms using C8’s technology.
