Tesla’s Quality Ranking Falls in China Survey to ‘Below Average’: SCMP


 

(AF) Tesla’s quality ranking dropped to “below average” while three leading Chinese electric vehicle startups are now making “top-quality cars,” according to a JD Power study, the South China Morning Post reported.

Tesla’s Model 3 ranked third in the midsize battery electric vehicle segment, falling behind BYD Co’s Han BEV and Xpeng’s P7, the JD Power study found, the SCMP reported. A year earlier Tesla’s Shanghai-built sedan ranked second behind Nio’s ES6, the report said. Full story: South China Morning Post.
