Alibaba’s India Arm Under Probe for Fabricating Documents – ET

 

The Indian unit of Chinese technology firm Alibaba is under the scanner for filing ‘false or fabricated’ documents with regulators, The Economic Times reported, citing people close to investigations.

India’s Ministry of Corporate Affairs and the Mumbai Police have launched investigations against Alibaba Cloud (India) LLP based on a complaint filed against the company, its partners and others by the Registrar of Companies in Mumbai, the report said.
