'Hypocrite and liar' Text Leak Rocks Australia's Morrison

Australia’s Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce offered to resign from his leadership position following a texting scandal where he called Prime Minister Scott Morrison a “hypocrite and a liar”, The Age reported.

The Deputy Prime Minister said his views in the text leaked to The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age were based on “assumptions and commentary” while on the backbench.
