Kandahar Businesses Consider Moving Abroad – Afghan Times

Many businesses are planning to move to Pakistan or Iran over challenges such as constant power outages that have paralysed the private sector

Economic woes have created an uncertain environment for local businesses in Kandahar with many planning to move to Pakistan or Iran, the Afghanistan Times reported.

Nematullah Nemat, deputy director of the Kandahar Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said challenges such as constant power outages have paralysed the private sector.
