Billionaire Mark Cuban, an investor on the reality TV series Shark Tank, said buying digital real estate in the metaverse is the “dumbest shit ever,” Business Insider reported.
Unlike real estate, virtual property does not depend on scarcity because unlimited amounts can be created, Cuban told Youtube channel Altcoin Daily, the story said. Cuban dismissed the metaverse, saying ”right now it’s more talk than anything,” according to the report.
