Vodafone Idea Reports Worst Quarterly Revenue Since 2019 – BS

Debt-ridden Indian telecom operator Vodafone Idea posted its lowest quarterly revenue in more than two years on Saturday, the Business Standard reported.

The company, which is a joint venture between the UK’s Vodafone Group and India’s Idea Cellular, blamed Covid for the the slump in its revenues which fell to £1.23 billion from $1.44 billion a year earlier. Its subscriber base also slipped to 255.4 million from 279.8 million the year before. Full story: Business Standard
