Hong Kong Ropes in Taxis as Ambulances – Transit Jam

The government said the service would help patients who were still waiting for hospital admission to visit one of seven designated clinics

Hong Kong will launch a taxi service to ferry non-priority Covid-19 patients on Friday, with about 300 cabs taking part, the city-based transport blog Transit Jam reported.

The government said the service would help patients who were still waiting for hospital admission to visit one of seven designated clinics. The taxi ambulances will be free but must be booked ahead.
